The BOPP Film Sandwich Lamination Plant is equipped with advanced electrical and mechanical devices throughout the whole production flow from substrate unwinding, lamination to winding, to achieve single control and group control. The BOPP Film Sandwich Lamination Plant dual-station Unwinder uses automatic web guiding control for substrates, and brakes for surface tension control of substrates, achieving pneumatic splicing and non-stop roll changing. The BOPP Sandwich Lamination Plant laminator is equipped with preheating roll (optional) for preheating and drying of substrates. Laminating roll, silicon rubber roll and press roll are of dual-interlayer forced water cooling structure, with excellent cooling effect. The BOPP Sandwich Lamination Plant dual-station winder adopts constant-tension surface friction winding, pneumatic transverse cutting, roll changing without shutdown, and equipped with adjustable edge-trimming device, edge-strip blowing device, and length counting device.

Process description for Printed Woven Bags Making Coating Machine:

In the extrusion coating process an extruder forces melted thermoplastic resin through a horizontal slot-die onto a moving web of substrate. The resulting product is a permanently coated web structure. Extrusion lamination is a similar process to extrusion coating, where the resin is extruded between two substrates and acts as a bonding agent.

Inside an extrusion coating and laminating line the substrates and melt are nipped at a bonding station. This consists of a large roll, a pressure roll, and a counter-pressure roll cooled by water. The combination of the pressure between the rolls and the temperature permits delivery of the correct adhesion level.

 

The final product is rewound as a permanently bonded multi-ply laminated structure. Most plastic films and foils require a primer coating before they are used in the extrusion process.
